Hey I’m Danny 👋. I’m a son, Father, husband, & entrepreneur living in Atlanta, Georgia.

I'm 42 years old. I've been married to the lovely Lana Peavey for 15 years, and I have the best son in the world, Griffin Everett. We have an 8-pound Shih Tzu named Minnie. I have a friend, Justin, who has a French Bull Dog. Sometimes, we think of breeding the bulldog and the Shih Tzu into a --------. 💩

If you laughed at that, then there are high odds that we will be friends. If you did not, then, to be honest, we'd probably still be friends.

I was born in Stoneham, Massachusetts, but have spent most of my life in Georgia, with a small stint in Northern California. I have a huge head. And I mean that literally, not from an ego perspective (although if you meet me and think otherwise, I'm very open to feedback). Griffin, unfortunately, inherited this trait from me. His labor took days because his 99th-percentile head was stuck in Lana's pelvic bone.

Side note: If you are single and in the dating world, outside of qualities like "attractive, kind, must-love-Jesus," etc., make sure you write the quality "don't marry anyone with a 99th-percentile head."

ANYWAY.

Professionally, I spent ten years in the technology world working for IBM, Apple, and HPE, where I helped Fortune 500 companies maximize their technology investment. In 2017, I launched a messaging firm called Story Sells that specialized in helping companies create a brand story that allows them to attract more buyers and close more sales. Messaging is a psychology-focused discipline that requires business owners to do a deep dive into the minds of their buyers to understand why they buy. It's a skill that lives inside product marketing, and once you develop it, you see business in a whole new way. I would argue it's one of the most important business functions. I started eating my own dog food, so to speak and decided I wanted to product market for my own company instead of doing it for a bunch of other companies, so I launched Home Service Engine, where we help home service companies maximize their ServiceTitan investment.

I grew up in the trades, and my family runs a successful home services company, so combining my upbringing with my top industry knowledge and technical background made a lot of sense.

I spend a lot of time on computers, so to offset that mental work and invest in building an asset, my wife and I also run Unplug Cabins: mirror cabins on 7 acres of land that border Cloudland Canyon State Park, 30 minutes outside Chattanooga, TN.

As you can see, I spend a lot of time building things. I do this because I believe I'm a valuable man with talents that deserve to be multiplied. I think it's my mandate and yours.

Outside work, you can usually find me meal prepping, hanging out with humans that I consider eagles, lifting weights, hooping 🏀, going to church, spending time with my family, and masterminding how to live a simple life fully funded by assets.

I also have a big creative side: When I was 19, I released a nerdy underground hip-hop rap album and a mixtape with my brother 😆. I've also finished a children's book about identity: I need to find the time to publish it.

That is all. Good luck. And good night.
